BBQ & Presentation Sept 01

Hello Team,

Avalon Soccer Club has the end of year presentation on September 1, 4pm at Careel Bay. The boys will receive a medallion and the photos will be handed out.

We thought it would be a good opportunity to coincide the Presentation with a team BBQ get together. 

No matter what the result on Saturday, the boys have had a great year. We thought we'd do something a little more special and not so boring as always going to Clareville (don't get me wrong, Clareville is a great place!), so we've decided to have a lunchtime BBQ at the BASIN. 

The 11am ferry arrives at the basin at 11.20 (alternatively, you can catch the 12 o'clock ferry if you like). We would then return on the 3.20 ferry, which gets back to Palm Beach at 3.45, just enough time to make it back to Careel Bay by 4!

Bring along whatever you would like to eat and drink. Of course, there are BBQ facilities and plenty of room for the boys (and parents) to have a great time.

What a great day on Saturday, the boys did exceptionally well.

A reminder about the BBQ on Saturday, I've copied in the original email below. I assume everyone is coming, and some of you mentioned that on Saturday. If you cannot make it, can you please let me know. Thanks.

I have a Red Avalon hooded jumper that was in the kit bag from Saturday. Can the owner please claim it and I'll bring it either to school or on Saturday. 

On a side note, 4 Avalon mens teams played in grand finals on Sunday and all won, what a great result! Congratulations to Sam & Enno who both won their over 35 game. Liams Uncle Daniel won the AL-1 final, and the AL-1 reserves also won.

Hello all. Great to see almost everyone at the BBQ on Saturday - a good end to a good season.

There's one more thing I need your help with though. At the start of the season we had 8 dark green bibs. The club would like the bibs back (keeps costs down for everyone) but I only have 5 left.

Can you all please have a look and/or get your son to have a look and see if they have a green bib anywhere. If so, can you drop it by to 67 Central Road (you can just put it in the letter box if you are in a hurry).
