Subject: [ActivityNet] ActivityNet Announcements: Evaluation Sever is Up

Dear ActivityNet Participants,

The organizers would like to make the following announcements:

  1. The evaluation server for the four tasks (ActivityNet Temporal Localization, ActivityNet Dense Captioning, AVA Spatio-temporal Detection, AVA ActiveSpeaker Detection) will open on Monday April 26th at noon Pacific Time.

  2. The server closes on May 31st, and the leadership board of each task will be made public on May 24. Make sure to create an account and submit your results on the test set to be considered for the challenge leaderboard. Please visit the challenge website for more details.

  3. Our submission policy for this year limits each team to 1 submission per task within any 7 days. This means that each participant will have to wait 7 days before resubmitting to the same task.

  4. To encourage participation in ActivityNet tasks, we provide ActivityNet features and frames (details).

  5. The evaluation server for the remaining tasks are hosted externally by the guest tasks organizers, Please refer to the guest task page on the challenge website for more details.
