Sat, June 21 - NYSAAP MEETING - New City Library, t-out 0900, 1000-1400

I am embarrassed to say I most likely will not be in attendance at this important Region 3 meeting as I have mentioned to everybody how busy I am with baseball.    This weekend it looks like my son, Jeremy, will be on a team representing West Nyack Little League in the Minor League Tournament of Champions to be running all week long at Nanuet LL starting Saturday morning.

And both my sons have been selected to their respective age-group All-Star teams, which start practicing ad-nauseum this weekend.  I will be the #1 coach of 1 team and the 2nd coach of another team.      Amongst all the baseball activities are numerous graduation and birthday parties, several of which we will not even be able to attend (yes, the kids are pissed, but my liver & bladder are thankful).

I mention all this as I feel the need to explain my absence, but always remember my heart is still with the Auxiliary Police departments that serve our communities on a volunteer basis and appreciate all the work ya'll do.   I just have different priorities at this time and wish I could be with all you cool people this weekend.

ON A SIDE NOTE:  If I wasn't one of the leaders of this awesome NYSAAP I probably would not even know there is a meeting this weekend.   I have not seen much advertising on our web groups supporting and reminding everybody of this event.   We should be e-mailing and posting incessantly every day to assure a good turnout.

Let's get the word out to assure good numbers.
I will miss you guys . . . Enjoy the meeting !
