Attention all NYSAAP members & friends:

 

Because of on going problems with the AOL group, we have started a new Yahoo! Group

 

In some ways the group is easier to join & use than the old  AOL Group.

 

You can choose to receive emails, a daily digest, only special notices,  or no email all.

All members of Law Enforcement , both Volunteer and Paid, are welcome to join.

 

You do not have to be a member of NYSAAP to join this group, but we ask that you do join if you Volunteer in a unit in New York State.

We need members if we want to ever get benefits.

Dues is only $10 a year.

If you haven't paid in the last 3 months, you are probably due for 2007.

We need show the state we are united in this effort.

We plan to have a bill ready for the new year.

 

We will all have to lobby for this bill ourselves.

I will be asking everyone to make calls, & write letters.

 

This Yahoo Group will help us all speak with one voice.

 

I will send an update as soon as we have a set of bill numbers.
