What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. having the rootpath on a network drive (Z:\)


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see no output.
Logfile says: ERROR scanDir: Root path does Z:\ not exists, aborting...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.5.8 alpha, on windows 8.1. Z:\ is a shared directory on Synology DSM
4.3. I can coinnect to the Z: drive without problems
