Hi,

I just started making recipe overrides for some of the apps I use mainly for getting the category and developer keys populated. Now, it seems that any recipe that I created an override for is now downloading two items into Munki and I have to manually delete one of them from the repo. They are the same file names aside from the "_1" getting added to the file name (e.g., Skype-7.30.0.274_1.plist). It looks like it downloads one using the override recipe and the other using the original parent recipe.

Any idea what I may have done or forgot to do for this to happen?

Below is the latest AutoPkgr Notification that I received, notice the two Skype instances (I hope the text formatting holds up):

Hi Dave,

Could you check your recipe list file to verify whether both the original recipe and the override are being run? The recipe list is at: ~/Library/Application Support/AutoPkgr/recipe_list.txt

Also, verify that MakeCatalogs.munki is the last recipe listed in your recipe list. (AutoPkgr should have already done this.)

If you need to, it's perfectly fine to manually edit this file and remove unnecessary lines. Just be sure to quit and relaunch AutoPkgr afterward.

Thanks,

Elliot

Hi Elliot,

I looked at the recipe list and there is only the one entry for Skype (local.munki.Skype) and similarly for the others.

Thanks,
Dave

Oh, and yes the "MakeCatalogs.munki" recipe is the last one.

I apologize. Still too early in the morning I guess.

So, there is only the one entry for Skype and Cyberduck, but I now remember that I remade the overrides for these yesterday. However, this time instead of doing it via Terminal, I right-clicked on the recipe within AutoPkgr to make the overrides. So I am going to try making new overrides within AutoPkgr for the others now. I will report results when I have them.

Thanks,

It's working now that I removed the parent recipes from the recipe list.

Thanks for you help!
