I had some time and decided to build few recipes with autopkg 0.3.0 on OSX 10.8.5.  I get same error message with both current builds of munki1 & munki2.  Here link for repo on github.  I deleted cache, built several clean VM's and tried clean installs of munkitools version 1/2,  and ever thing else I could think of.   Here example below of error for TechTool 7.  I only see the error when I run "foo.munki,recipe".  When I run "foo.download.recipe", there no error message.  If I try to mount foo.dmg found in Cache, it will not mount.
I get this same error for multiple apps. While other recipes work with out any problems.  I have folder name "hdutil error" on repo in directory "*Need to Fix" with all apps I'm having hdiutil: attach failed issue,   I have no idea on why or how to fix this after spending most of my day & night on solving hdutil error.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!

W

I figured it out,  It was issue with Homebrew's "python".

I'm getting this problem as well - if I clear the Cache folder, it works the first time, after that the process can no longer mount .dmg.

Just updated autopkg to 0.3.1, same issue:

bash-3.2$ autopkg run VLC.munki

You're going to need to do some investigation/troubleshooting to discover why /usr/bin/hdiutil can't mount disk images on your machine or under the munkiwebadmin user account. (That's an odd user to run autopkg as)

Might this be AV software interfering?

I posted a new topic when I realized his error message was slightly different...
