Hi
Using Autopkg (and Autopkgr).
When looking into the cache folder ~/Library/AutoPkg/Cache/local.munki.name/receipts/
the folder contains like 1000 of .plist files for every run.

Did create a script that cleans that folder and keep most recent.
But is there any best practice, nothing build-in for rotate/delete that i missed?

Regards
Mikael

Nothing built into autopkg, no. Everyone has different needs/requirements.

Mikael

As a follow-up, is there any danger in just deleting the cache altogether (~/Library/AutoPkg/Cache/*) periodically?

I don't really need to keep the latest versions, as I already import those into my Munki repo.

No, there is no danger. It is a cache. Without the latest version in the cache, AutoPkg will re-download the latest version.

Thanks. That's what I figured, but it's good to get confirmation on it. Thanks again.
