which raspberry pi to get?

Sorry if I missed this in the biorxiv, but is there a recommendation for which version of the pi to get? v3, v4, v4b are all discussed in the text. I'm thinking 4b 2GB looks like the right price point, but haven't messed around with pis before so not sure, thanks for any tips!
PS - In the biorxiv I read "chaining multiple Pis" as "chaining multiple PIs together" ... a much different image!

Ha! yes we don't have a framework for the multi-PI problem, something tells me it will be even more challenging...
Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for the question -- seems like a good note to have in an FAQ page.
Definitely recommend the 4b, I have been a bunch of 2GBs with no issue and would recommend them to start, might recommend more ram if you wanted to capture larger images but don't have benchmarking there.
