Hi,

I was very sorry to hear that the Autopackage project is coming to an
end. I think it really is a great tool and has helped us in several
linux projects. I was wondering, is APBuild still going to be
available in some form? I had a brief look at Listaller, but I
couldn't see anything corresponding to this magnificent tool.

Many thanks

John

Hi John,

The newest version of APBuild is inside Listaller's repository:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ximion/listaller/master/files/head:/tools/apbuild/

The Autopackage Development Environment (which includes apbuild) can
also still be downloaded here:

Hi!
We had a similar solution like APBuild in Listaller, but APBuild is far
more flexible than the old builder.
So we will use APBuild in Listaller, integrate it with all other Listaller
tools and continue the development of it. If you look at the current
Listaller source you can see it's already in there, like BinReloc and some
other tools like a Qt4 version of VisualLDD too.
Unfortunately we don't have much development power at time, which means
APBuild has low priority. First we need PackageKit integration of Listaller
and an updated version of our IPK package format.
But development of APBuild will continue, of course.
Kind regards
Matthias Klumpp

That's great news. Thanks!
