Ability to save clipped images, not just paste

Is this a possibility: to be able to either drag a copied image from
the clips view to the Finder as a JPG or PNG or in its original
format; or be able to right click the image in the clips view and do a
"save as? I'm just trying to avoid always having to paste the image
into something else and then export or save it as a file. Savvy
Clipboard, for example, lets you drag images out automatically as PDF
files, or right click and "save as" some other format.
