Workshop and Shared Task on Automated Extraction of Socio-political Events from Text - CASE @ ACL-IJCNLP 2021

Dear all,

We hope this e-mail finds you well. You are receiving this e-mail since you how participated in one or more of our activities [1,2,3]. Your contributions have been improving the quality of this series of events. Therefore, we would like to inform you about our recent activity. We are organizing the workshop CASE @ ACL-IJCNLP 2021 [4] as a continuation of these events. There is a shared task in the scope of the CASE workshop as well [5, 6].

You are more than welcome to submit regular papers to the workshop or participate in any of the tasks (3 tasks) or subtasks (task 1 consists of 4 subtasks) in the shared task.  Even if you are in the program committee or organizing committee, it is fine for you to participate in the tasks or subtasks in case you are not directly involved in the preparation of the respective task.

Moreover, we would appreciate your help if you have time to join the program committee as well. We expect the committee members at least to review one or more of the papers (short or long papers and shared task reports) in May.

Finally, any help to announce the workshop and the shared task further would be much appreciated! Just let me know if you miss the announcement on some platform or e-mail list. Here are the social media posts:
