Dear AFQ experts,
Recently, I used GE 3.0T machine to scan pediatric patients aged 6-8 to obtain DTI data and perform AFQ analysis on them, but the results of tracking fiber bundles were not good. Only 6 of the 20 fibers could be traced Fiber bundles, the number of remaining fibers is zero. I just started to use AFQ analysis, so I am not very familiar with it. I want to know how can children trace more fibers? Or are children unable to perform AFQ analysis?

Whenever that many fiber groups are empty it is almost always because the gradient directions are flipped or misspecified. Look through the archive and you will se ways that different people fixed this problem

Hi,

Were you able to solve this problem? I am struggling with AFQ analysis on a pediatric dataset as well (5 year olds) and can't seem to figure out what's wrong!

Many thanks,
Maria
