Plotting individual AFQ ROIs

I am trying to convert the AFQ rois generated for each subject as mat file to nii file to plot an overlap between AFQ rois and my functional ROIs from fMRI Data (nii files). 

 

But, I am unable to convert the AFQ rois to nii file. I was wondering if someone can help me with the same. 

The goal is to do fmri - dti correlations. I need to show the overlap between endpoints of AF and IFOF with my functional ROIs - task specific rois in IFG, STG and MTG. I have functional rois for each subject.

Please advice.

I’m pretty sure these are written out by default with the current version of pyAFQ
