custom date range not working

Hello,

I've tried to set up a custom date range with "first day of this year" to "yesterday" but this doesn't work. I only get values from this month to yesterday. (see screenshots)

Is it a bug maybe?

Ok, I found out that "first day of this year" apparently doesn't work so I tried "1 Jan" which is working.
