How are the Facebook metrics calculated and what do they mean?

Hi there

We've been using Supermetrics for a while but I'm noticing big conflicts in Facebook Insight numbers and the data Supermetrics pulls. For example the daily sum of 'Organic reach' over a month in Insights is completely different to the monthly 'Organic reach' in SM (three times as much in Facebook).

Is there a glossary of what each Facebook category in Supermetrics means? It's confusing because a lot of the SM metrics, like Reach/fans and Content Consumptions - do not align to the metrics/terminology within Facebook Insights. Is Organic Reach in Insights and Supermetrics like for like?!

Any insights (!) you could give me into this would be great.
