Is there a way to call a "refresh" via apps script?

I am not looking for "timing" or setting a trigger or creating a new button, I am just looking for a way to reference a Supermetrics function via apps script.

use case on this just as a FYI,

I use your app in conjunction with others to pull base data sets then manipulate that data via my own scripting.  Its a hassle(and sometimes causes major data issues) to have to click a button on your app just to refresh data, and unfortunately "triggers" you have now will not work, as I need something "run" based and not time based.

if you don't have this functionality anyway you can add it to the roadmap, would make for some awesome capabilities of your app.

Thx

Same here, I don't need to do a "refresh all" by script, but I need to preload a report, to use its data as a filter for the next queries to be run. Is it possible to trigger a single refresh on a query by script? I'm guessing having a function to do a refresh all defeats the purpose of paid plan feature (scheduled refresh), but could you make available a function for a single query refresh?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow script functions to call add-on functions, so it's not possible. We are looking at a possible work-around, but it's not in place yet.

If you have Super Pro, there is a new feature in beta where you can add a query as a function (when running the query, from the blue "Get data.." button, us the dropdown arrow and select "Function"). The query will be added as a custom spreadsheet function, the parameters can easily be manipulated on the sheet (eg. by a script), and the function refreshes automatically whenever the parameters are changed. Or you can use Supermetrics Functions (supermetrics.com/functions) to do the same, but in that case, you will need to type the function on your own, you won't have the add-on interface to help construct the query.
