Discrepancy in Facebook Shares by Profile vs. by Post

If I run a Facebook Insights query that pulls in "page_shares" as the metric split by "profile," I get 334 shares for a given Facebook profile in a week.

If I run a similar query that pull sin "page_shares" split by "post_linkto," then the sum of shares for that same profile for the same date range is only 2 shares.

What's causing the huge discrepancy in this share data? The data split by post seems much more accurate than the profile data.

If you split by post-level dimensions like post_linkto, you will get shares for individual posts ("shares" at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.6/post/). Otherwise, you will get page-level shares ("page_positive_feedback_by_type" where type is "link" at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/reference/v2.6/insights#metrics).

Thanks Mikael. That makes sense as to how they match up to the Facebook graph API insights metrics. But the number Supermetrics is returning doesn't seem to align with what I'm seeing in Insights. 

When I export the insights for this page, I get that daily positive feedback with type "link" totals to 12 for May 23rd - May 29. I've attached the insights export.

However the supermetrics query returns 334 page_shares for the same page over the same time period. Screenshot here.
