What is an "AMOLED option"? Please explain.

I thkink he meant a version of dark mode for Amoled screens. Amoled screens show the darkest black. So he wants an darkest black mode.

Yes, it helps preserve battery and looks quite nice.

That's surely not a standard Android feature. Try using the "Setting finder" flow, then the System setting set block if there's a setting for it.

I know Discord has implemented it on mobile and some other apps. I don't believe its a system theme.

Aha, so you mean implementing a special app "theme" for AMOLED dark, not just "Light" and "Dark".

No such plans, mostly due to the Material design component used doesn't support it, and i don't even know what it would entail, i.e the work necessary.
