Google Home to cause a remote phone to iniate an action?

I am new to this. Could I use Google Home to cause a remote phone (connected to  the same home) to initiate the running of a remote Automate process? In particular I want a remote phone to run and send, presumably by email, a short video.

This must have been done before? How?

There's no built-in support for it. But it may be possible using IFTTT to make a HTTP request to the Automate webhook.
