to Automate for Android
Hi,

my mom is old and can not handle a smartphone very well. If a phone call comes in, she touches everything on the screen :)

Now I have setup Linphone, Automate and a Kiosk App to limit and control the smartphone.

I can handle with Automate notifications, for example the notification from Linphone pops up, Automate detects it, waits until the call is accepted (automatically by Linphone after a while) and "clicks" on the free speech button.

The problem is, that in that notification you have a "cancel" button and this is a no go for my mom. So I disabled notifications for Linphone and have now the problem that I can not longer detect when a call from Linphone comes in.

The native functions for phone calls does not work at all in Automate, even not with other sip apps which you can set as default phone application (Linphone can not do this).

How can this be realized?

Hey, just an idea but wouldn't switching linphone notifications to silent + minimized prevent them from presenting a Cancel button (at least not without going two swipes and a tap into the notification drawer which I presume kiosk app prevents) but still remain detectable by Automate ?

Thanks, that pointed me into the right direction (Snooze Notification block).

I have a similar situation and ended up with installing VoIP.ms Softphone which has an Auto-answer mode with Speakerphone.
It's a white-label solution from Acrobits , which imo is the best voip softphone , much better than linphone and Zoiper
