I am new to this app and not sure if it will do what I want

I am using a app which has it own backup to backup the apps data I want to try and automate a Dailly backup which theapp does not have

Really appreciate any help

Which app?

Where is the backup saved?

If that app doesn't save the backup to external storage, then it's data is inaccessible to other apps like Automate, i.e. since it likely can't access the /Android/data/... folders.
