Driving Mode block (following upgrade to Android 12 where I can no longer use Android Auto on my device)

Hi, I'd like to be able to trigger various actions once the device goes into Driving Mode (configured in Settings > Connected Devices > Connection Preferences), but I can't see a block that relates to this (I don't want to use 'Physical Activity' to detect driving - I specifically require 'Driving Mode').

Are there any plans to add this please?

Or...is there another way to achieve what I'm aiming for...all I want to do is to start Google Maps as soon as the device enters Driving Mode (which I can't seem to do natively?). Seems like an oversight to me by Google, unless I've completely missed this feature (or the point of it) in which case it's a massive oversight by me :)

I don't think Android has any public API for detecting, if that's even an standard Android feature.

The only car related feature i can think of is the Car mode enabled block.

I used to use Android Auto (Car Mode that you refer to), but now with Android 12, Android Auto is no longer available in the sense of the standalone app - it's only for car connection with Android Auto compatible vehicles / head units.

If Driving Mode is, as I believe, now a standard Android feature, is this something you'll be able to cater for in the app please?

Anything Android Auto is off limits to regular apps, or at least used to be.

I was planning of include some of the features it provides, but that would have required Automate to go through a special Google Play Store review process, which it would probably never pass, i.e. "driver distraction tests" requirements, etc.

I haven't begun with the changes for the Android 12, if i find they've added any new features, e.g. for detecting Driving mode, i'll surely add it.

Is there any update on this? Or is this solved by the "Car Mode" block? Just installed the app and still looking through everything - but all car related stuff is using the Physical Activity block
