connect when connected to computer

i want to automate <attached image> to do stuff whenever certain device is plugged in but it won't let me select the device, i've tried everyting i could think of but still nothing, plz help

The USB device is probably not connecting in an a mode that regular apps can detect. What kind of device is it?

As an alternative try using the Broadcast receive block with action USB device attached or USB accessory attached.
