How to Grant "Access screen content and observe your actions" Android 12

Installing Automate on a new phone with Android 12 (samsung 53a) to run my scripts.  I need to grant screen access but am having issues.  When hitting the in app grant popup, it shows a second popup with information about the Accessibility API, after that it takes you to the Android Accessibility Options.  There is no "ON" or way to grant access to apps. 

What am I missing?

It has be enabled manually by the user on the accessibility settings screen, by clicking "Automate" under the "Downloaded apps" header, then "Use Automate".
