Hi,

I'm trying to download an apk file from the following address:
hxxp://download1058.mediafire.com/mipbap4soq0g/wxcqwt2ba3ze30q/extension.apk
With the HTTP request block it does not seem to work though. It downloads the file correctly, but when I try to install the app, it says "file corrupted". Any ideas?

Are all downloads corrupt, or jsut files from mediafire?

If an APK is downloaded from somewhere is it also corrupt?

Could it be that you are using the hxxp protocol? I haven't seen that one before XD

Files from Google Drive and Dropbox are also corrupt after downloading. The file thumbnail is the same as the original, but the md5 is different.

Btw, I typed "hxxp" to prevent it from making a hyperlink. Unfortunately that didn't work.

Just did a test on Android 7 and the downloaded file isn't corrupted, i.e the MD5 still match.
How are you calculating the checksum?
