Hey all,

trying to start an http request by automate on another smartphone. My Pixel3 works very well.

The response is: Socket Exception with socket failed: EACCESS (permission denied)

I installed the network network permissions app and the checkbox was set.

I am just fetching the Android Version and manufacturer.
Any hints upfront?

Can you access the community section?

How is the HTTP request bloc configured?

Hey Thanks for the answer

The Block is configured very simple and works on pixel 3, xiaomi 9se and Motorola Moto x4

IT is a get with http://{plug_IP}/cm?cmnd=backlog%20blinktime%2010%3Bblinkcount%2010%3Bpower%203

I read in:

that Huawei needs a restart to Boot the collaboration with the Network permission App correctly. I will try that today afternoon and give Feedback. Maybe some emui speciality :(

Once installed the Network permission add-on can actually be uninstalled, the system never revokes the those permission.

Thanks for this hint :)

For Huawei it really was the reboot! Seems Huawei has some security boot order thingy, which other do not have.
