Hello, a recent update (I don't know if it was an Android or Automate update that changed things, but v1.48.1 did just install 2 days ago on my device) is causing an unactionable pop-up panel to appear on the screen.

The panel can be swiped up to reveal a message, "No flow awaiting assist request".

The issue happens with just a minimal flow: "Flow Beginning" → "Airplane mode set state" and triggers whether the target state is on or off.

* The panel pops up every time a flow executes the "Airplane mode set state" block.

* The block does take effect (the airplane mode state is changed).

* I can prevent the pop-up by changing the Android settings "Default digital assistant app" to None, but that, of course, prevents the Flow from working.

* I can check the "Always [X]" box in the panel, but since there are no actions to perform on the panel, the checkbox has no effect.

VERSIONS
Automate: 1.48.1
Android: 16, August 2025
If any other app versions would be useful (I know google splits a lot of functionality into apps), I can send those as well.

Any hints, suggestions, or ideas? I can provide debug info or perform any tests that might be useful for analysis.

Thanks!
- Dean
