Can't restore backup from Google drive

I have preinstalled backup flow. I see a lot of backup files. But after Android reset I can't use these backups. Automate just ignores them.

All files have .bak extension. When trying to select file for restore, it just can't be selected.

Please, help me

But I can't choose downloaded file as well. It is grey and not selectable.

Any thoughts?

Open the Google Drive app from the launcher, not through Automate, then download the backup.

Are you using the "Restore backup" button in Automate settings?

Odd. Try renaming the backup file to something.zip or something.jar on Google Drive then re-download it.

It worked. But in different way, that you've told me.

When choosing a file to restore we need to use 'SD card' instead of 'Downloads' menu item. Then I went to download folder from there and chose .bak downloaded from Google Drive without renaming.

Looks like a bug.

Agreed, the Download app seems to have become just as buggy as Google Drive.
I'll put a notice in the doc.
