Bluetooth connect - no MODIFY_PHONE_STATE permission

Hi,

is there any workaround for the below?

07-03 12:14:37.792 I 4370@243: Bluetooth device connected?
07-03 12:14:37.799 I 4372@241: Bluetooth device connect
07-03 12:14:37.841 F 4372@241: java.lang.SecurityException: Neither user 10229 nor current process has android.permission.MODIFY_PHONE_STATE

Rooted LineageOS 23 (Android 16) on Samsung tablet. Automate has root permission, Bluetooth workaround set to "Privileged service" in settings (same error if this is set to "None").

What Device profile are you trying to connect to?

The Bluetooth device block is currently not using the Privileged service, i.e. root/ADB. I'll consider adding support for it doing so, if possible.

External speakers / bt headphones. Worked on older Android, crashes since Android 14 at least :-(
