Where are the Automate log files stored ?
Alternatively what android viewer/editor allows to share or copy content of a log file so it can be pasted to a post?

Use the View log option in the flow details menu, this will allow you to open the log file in any text-viewer app, and share/send it from there.

Hi Henrik,

I'm having trouble with this. I have a 5MB log here and I'm trying to get this to my PC.

I viewed the log in Chrome, but when I try and share it (to Gmail, SD card, Clipboard and so on), the browser only provides the link to the log (i.e. 'content://com.llamalab.automate.provider/flows/10/log'). Then I tried tap and hold to select a text and then selected 'select all', it only selected a certain amount of text in the log. This must be for security reason. I've spent about 20 minutes trying to export the entire log but I'm having trouble doing so. I've tried using various text editing apps but they all complained about the log being too big.

Any ideas how I can do this?

Perhaps it would be a good idea to implement a 'Export/Save log' functionality from within Automate? This can be useful because if someone ran into a problem with my Automate flow, they can download the entire log and then send it to me.

I do a lot of custom logging.

Thanks
Joshua

Use the "Content copy" block to copy the log to external storage so you can access it.

I'll add a "Send log" menu option.

I have several flows that log info.  Instead I want them all to send log message to a logger flow, and then use a widget to bring its logfile where all the messages get logged.  The "Copy content" block needs a "CONTENT URI" input argument.  What is the "CONTENT URI" for the logfile of a flow?

content://com.llamalab.automate.provider/flows/<id>/log

Use the Log > View menu on the flow details screen to see/copy it.
