Shortcut to enable USB tethering?

Hello,

Before I learn about Automate, I'd like to check that it can add a shortcut on the home screen to enable USB tethering manually — most of the time, I simply want to download files through MTP.

Can Automate do this without requiring a rooted phone? It's a brand new Xiaomi Redmi Note 14, and those phones are pretty much unrootable these days.

Check the phone software version if you can turn to developer mode and see available debugging option there if USB tether block require it.

It should, using the USB tethering set state block, but it do require you to setup an "privileged service start method" using the "Android Debug Bridge" option.
