Android 15 · Moto G Power 5G (2024)  — dedicated Google Translate device for a 91-yo.

I need to wake/launch on very small, non-significant movement or flip/tilt while the phone is asleep; false positives are OK, battery use should be low.

Which Automate block is best for micro-motion (not “Significant device motion”) — Device acceleration vs Device orientation — and any ultra-sensitive threshold tips (while saving battery power)?

Available Sensors: Accelerometer (3-axis), Gyroscope (3-axis), Magnetometer / E-Compass.

My current Flow: Display on? (Proceed: When changed) → launch Google Translate; a single Power press wakes the screen and triggers the block.

I think device orientation is better to do that job but may not work on some phone I'm not sure how to change motion so it less sensitive.

If the  Significant device motion suffice then it's preferred, since it should work while the device is asleep.
Otherwise the Device acceleration or Device orientation block, the former only use the accelerometer and does less calculations so it could potentially use less battery, but that's probably insignificant. However the Device keep awake block is probably necessary.
The Display on or Device interactive blocks should also work if the device is asleep, since they should proceed when it's not.
