I would like to kindly request the addition of an option to modify the parameter value for the maximum number of SMS messages allowed per hour or other intervals. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a feature that indicates how close I am to reaching the current limit.

Why doesn't the current SMS sent limit options suffice?

The "Limit to" together with the "Period" option should give very detailed control of the limit. But, however many options given rate limiting works on averages to exactly.

I don't think the rate limiting algorithm used can give a useful description of how close its to the limit.
