Activate/Deactivate HotSpot on Huawei P8 Lite

Hi,

when using automate my main intention is turning on/off the hotspot/wlan tethering whilst at work. 

Unfortunately the enable/disable hotspot block doesn't work proper.  :(

I made a flowchart with only this one block, but it wont't change the state.... with one exception:

If I turn on the hotspot manually, I suddenly can use the block with "disable" option set to disable the hotspot!?

Afterwards I can use the block with "enable" to enable the hotspot.... It will work for a few times then.

But suddenly it stops working and nothing happens again - not even a failure log is provided. There is simply no reaction.

I could not point out what I did, so it suddenly stopped working!

Furthermore the Block that get's the hotspot state doesn't work proper as well.

Following the log it stops during the execution of this block and hangs... without any errors.

The state isn't read!

Buuuutt..... If succesfully apply a disable/enable action via a flow now... then suddenly the state-block works?!?

I could accept, if the p8 did not support controlling the hotspot thru non system-apps... 

But it's hard to know, that it apperently works generally... but there's might an issue that prevents a meaningful usage of the hotspot-controls via automate

Can someone help me with this problem?

hi!

That shoould be very simple to solve.

To enable a hotspot you need to turn off wlan first.

The hotspot block won't check it for you.
