Airplane mode block and "voice assistant" privilege

Hello Henrik,

I'm using the Airplane mode block in a flow.

To run properly, Automate asks me to set itself to "act as voice assistant with access to screen content" and to tick the check box.

Why is this mandatory and isn't it a bug?

No bug. It uses the same API as the Google Assistant, the only way to toggle it without using root, see:

https://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/Settings#ACTION_VOICE_CONTROL_AIRPLANE_MODE

To force Automate to use the root way, change the Airplane mode workaround option in settings.
