I am trying to use a few threads that require both local and google drive storage access, and neither of them will work. The "read the contents of your shared storage" and "modify or delete the contents of your shared storage" permissions will not be checked, despite automate having full superuser access to storage, and all storage permissions granted in settings. I have authenticated with google drive.
I am running Android 13, specifically Nothing OS 2.0.2a.
Anyone know why this could be?

Ensure to grant the "access to manage all files" privilege in Automate privilege settings. That privilege should be requested by any block accessing local storage/files.

I'm having the same problem, those two checkboxes don't stay ticked. "acess to manage all files" is ticked in the privileges menu in sutomat, and the system permission for it is given. No root or anything on my end though. This flow worked as-is a few months ago before a reinstall.

(sorry, typos, desktop mode browsing on phone is awfully inconvenient)

As said, ensure "access to manage all files" privilege is granted, it's the only "file" permission needed on Android 11+, the others can be ignored.

it is checked, but when I try to run the flow, it still gives me a popup demanding read/modify/delete permission on shared storage, and clicking Grant does nothing, just like how the checkboxes don't respond.

And I'm not sure what's different from before (I granted it a different way or something), but when I was restoring this flow from a backup a week ago, I got through the permission grants but then I still got file access errors when a block actually tried to access a file. Details of that one are lost though, I'll come back with it if I get to that point again.

Try granting the permission in system App settings.
As last resort, click the NEVER button in the dialog shown when starting the flow, then starting it again.

Clicking Never fixed the flow.... Thanks, but this seems like pretty buggy ux. Do you want more details from me for repro or do you know the problem already?

I suspect your using a device which doesn't support the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission, there's not much i can do about that since it should be part of standard Android 11+.
