Hey there!
Took a little time but I learned enough to be able to reproduce a bunch of my AHK scripts in AK. The issue Im having is that in some games (for example ESO), when I use the assigned hotkey, the mouse sensitivity jumps to ultra high levels throwing off my aim/cursor position/ect.

This happens even when the script is empty except for a hotkey assigned.

I am using Garuda Linux on the latest Zen kernel, and Plasma KDE as my DE.

Any thoughts on this? I use macroing in a lot of games to help speed things up, in ESO I use it to help along crafting and deconstructing as well as a few other things.

Hi. I answered this on Gitter before I saw it here.

Short version: Please file an issue on GitHub including as much detail as
possible about when it does and doesn't occur.

We are currently developing a new keyboard and mouse interface based on
uinput so it will work on Wayland. If you don't have luck with anything
else, ask about this on Gitter and you can try this very new (alpha level)
software to see if it makes a difference without breaking anything else
you depend upon.

Wow, I didn't know that! That's great news!

It is working for Sam, who developed it, but no one else has tried it yet.
AFAIK, window filters aren't implemented and we don't know if they can be,
so we're not sure how complete the implementation will be. I rely on
window filters, so that's a blocker for me. Other things won't work such
as visgrep()...

I don't even know what visgrep() is, and I have never had a need for windows filters, so I guess I would be fine. I don't use Wayland yet anyway, though.

Thank you for the reply! I am currently on X11 as I get better overall performance vs Wayland.
I will submit a bug report on github, thank you!!

It might work with an X11 display manager as well.

Visgrep() is an old feature that was buried on a new features page that
nobody read.

It shows up now in the new documentation under HighLevel API.

It allows you to search the screen for a small pre-saved image and click
on it. It's great for objects that can't be reached with keyboard cursor
movements or that don't always show up at the same screen coordinates. It
comes from the Xautomation project which supports a more powerful
interface than the one AutoKey exposes.
