Welcome to the AutoKey community, David!
Never tried that, but looking at
https://github.com/autokey/autokey/wiki/Special-Keys , it appears that you
need to use a lower case f.
I assume this is a phrase and not a script.
Since <f5> is an AutoKey macro and an active key (one that the receiving
window/app responds to immediately), you need to select the Paste using
keyboard option for such phrases. This will work fine in simple cases, but
can be an issue if your phrase also contains other characters. Let us know
if that's the case and you're getting undesirable results.
If that doesn't work, there are a few other things we can try.
There's lots of other good stuff in our wiki, so be sure to look around.
Also, if you aren't using our latest version, 0.96.0, you should consider
upgrading.
This release contains a lot of bug fixes and a few new features. We highly
encourage users to upgrade as soon as possible. You can find it at
https://github.com/autokey/autokey/releases/ with instructions at
https://github.com/autokey/autokey/wiki/Installing .
The installation is pretty easy to do and we also provide .deb packages
for users of Debian and Debian-derived distributions (Ubuntu, Mint, ...).
