Hi Everyone,
I have just recently joined this forum, and I
would like to say after reading many of the previous
comments about the pro's and cons of each Autodesk product,
that Autodesk World is generally the best GIS product,
Autodesk has going for it!!! AutoCAD Map is good for editing
data, and performing simple queries, but does NOT handle
large datasets well, nor is it's link template approach
very stable, and I have found it quite limiting when performing more complex SQL queries. Autodesk Mapguide is only good for novice users to view, zoom, and pan around
the screen looking at the data, and to distribute this
data. It is not much good for anything useful. Therefore it is only a TOY!!! I have Autodesk World to be very stable,
and I like it's approach to GIS data managment, and integration.

What I would like to see is that Autodesk provide support
for this product, and others in it's GIS family for Microsofts new Windows 2000 operating system. In addition
when will Autodesk provide support for Microsoft Office 2000
products, especially MS Access 2000??? As you can no longer
get copies of Office 97!!!

Cheers Mark!!!
