Whenever a user tries to save a word document, Workcenter launches. Is
there a fix for this? Also, what is the best way to fully remove
workcenter from the workstation?

What you have to do is disable the ODMA so that workcenter does not launch Word whenever the user saves a file. Go to the workcenter program group and select workcenter application linking setup icon, once you're there you should see at the top of the window a check box marked "Enable ODMA" make sure this is unchecked and that's it.

To fully remove Workcenter from a client machine you should consult pages 39
and 40 of the Workcenter Administrators manual. it is best that you consult
the manual as you will have to make changes to your registry.
