I have scanned this newsgroup and the web site. I have found hints that
this product may not import DWG files. Then I found hints that it will not.
Please let me know Yes or No. If the answer is NO, is there a workaround or
conversion I can run.

I am assuming you are using Planix 3D Home Designer Deluxe or Complete Home
Suite. These products cannot open or import .dwg files. I would suggest having
the person creating the .dwg to save it as a .dxf file. These files can be
opened.

I have the old Home Series which I believe uses .DWG files for saving its data. I
take it this program can not read these. Is there any way to convert my old drawing
in Home Series to something (anything!) else as I have many hours of time in them.
Thanks for any information.

Amy,

I assume you mean that QuickCAD can open Home's DWG files and save them as DXF
files (not DWG)? Then you can import them as DXF into Planix? Thanks for you
time.
