Need more INFO

I have been reading up on different software that will enable me to plan HOW
I want to build my house on my land and I still am not sure on WHAT to buy.
Can anyone tell me of some software packages that will enable me to create a
layout of my land, enable me to design my house AND use this house that I
desin in a layout? I would like to create my house and put it on the screen
with the trees, driveway, etc. Enabling me to ensure that everything will
fit.

One reason for this would be so that I can plant my trees NOW and then 5
years down the road, I would still be able to build my house, build my
garage and know that I haven't messed up. Ensuring that everything FITS
just the way that I want it to. Please help.

I want to know What package to get and how much the cost will be. I use
AutoCADR14 at work, do you think that I can use this add on package on my
offtime to create my layout?
