Correct me if I'm wrong, but after fooling around in HD3DDLX one evening or
two, I've come to the following conclusions:

1. You cannot create additionnal 3D symbols, even with third-party software
2. There is no know supplemental 3D library available on the market (even
after 3 years of HD3D existence).
3. Some symbols never appears in 3D view (such as plants, outdoors stuff,
etc.)
4. The height of 3D symbols is not customizable, except by changing the
ceiling height. For example, if I can take a chair and make it thiner, I
cannot lower it (I need small low-height chair symbol for kindergarden
design).
5. Stairs that go down cannot be viewed in 3D view (so why there is an
option in Stair properties to set it down?)
6. A 3D view cannot be export as bitmap *with* furniture in it (As for now,
I have to capture the screen with PaintShopPro).
7. You cannot have a 3D view with doors open (but you can have a Walkthrough
video with doors opened)

Meanwhile, I am still looking how to:

8. How to draw open shelves on the walls.
9. Set height of windows (distance from floor to window's frame, and height
of window).
10. How to easily change the lenght of a wall without battling with the
mouse (suppose I want a 10'4" wall: how can I do it by entering measure ?)

Somebody can tell me if are these (strong) limitations are true ?

Rgds

LDM,

Your first 7 conclusions are correct. As for the last 3, I'll do some work on
these and see what I can come up with.
