I finally found this newsgroup! Well have I got a ton of questions for you
guys. I will only post a few at a time to keep the thought process simple. I
searched though what my ISP let me download to find the answers first. To no
avail. Btw I am using AutoCad 2000 Mechanical (with power pack I think).

1. amnote: Anytime you use this command on a std part ie. 1/4-20 x 1.00 long
going to the left always puts the extension line through the text. Is there
a fix for this? ( Other than 2000i which imho should have been a patch
release).

2. partref: When I insert a 1/4-20 x 1.00 long SHCS for instance is there a
file that I could modify so that the associated partref would have my vendor
name already filled in? I seemed to think I read something somewhere about
this but forgot to save the file.

Ok those are the simple ones for now. There's a whole lot of really
technical people in here with some dandy answers and I'm real excited to get
this program tweaked to where I don't have think as much.
