-new to inventor-
To give some context on how I'm uploading the files. From Inventor -if you were to click part or assembly- I'd go to "Start 2D Sketch" click the plane I'd use, insert an ACAD file -in this case a DWG file from autocad, not too large- and then I would end up with the spinning loading bar of death. And I mean I've even waited hours on a small file.
To load parts or assemblies I selected that I'd use RAM instead of GPU in the settings menu too load faster, because I have 32G RAM instead. I turn off all appearances.
Here may be some of my issues.
-An old and frankly slow computer
-A faulty-ish battery
-Or a crappy mother board. 'Not one for CAD software.
I don't think any of those issues are the problem to the loading bar of death though. If anyone has any ideas to which I could load an ACAD file into Inventor I would love to, read, it.
