I use .PDFs as well. Best solution I've found.

Print it to a PDF file. Uneditable, small file size, pretty much universal,
reader is free

There are a few free PDF creators out there as well...

While PDF's are the best for simply reading drawings, have your vendor
open your DWF's in VoloView Express.

For most purposes, I find DWF's to be smaller than PDF's and "good
enough" for conveying crucial information... also look into the redline
capabilities.

It's a bit like Mickey Mouse but works and is simple.

Okay, sounds good. I don't see a .pdf in the drop-down for Save Copy As, so
I assume that there is a few more steps involved. Can you tell me how you
make your .idw into a .pdf?
