Trend Micro virus software and IV conflicts?

Our MIS guy has been installing Trend Micro software on
all the PC's.
all the PC's.
It seems to me I have read many times abt conflicts
when running modeling software like Inventor or Mech
Desktop in the past.
Can someone point me to a link explaining the potential
problems when running both at same time....so I can let
our MIS guy read it?

AFAIK the problems with running anti-virus software is only during the
installation of Inventor/MDT.
Just turn it off when installing Inventor/MDT (and service packs) and you
should be OK.
Remember to turn it on again when you're done ... 8^)

Well we have been using Trend anti-virus for a couple of months now and
there doesnt seem to be a problem. IV5.3 sings along.
