Is it possible to insert an OLE object into an AutoCAD drawing wich will
be transparent? In my case I want to have a scanned BMP file on my
drawing (rastering the image will not produce a good enough result for
me) but also have som AutoCAD lines visible under the image.

Henrik,
You cannot make it transparent, but you can order the parts of you drawing
in which they appear. Using the draworder command <Tools DisplayOrder> you
can send to back, bring to front, above, under. Hopefully this will work
for you.
Thanks,
