How to install AutoCAD 2000 and 2000i in Windows XP:

Create a shortcut for the CD's SETUP on your desktop. Then right-mouse click
it and select the "compatibility" tab. Check the Compatibility mode box and
then just choose Windows 2000.
Make sure you have the CD in the drive when you right-mouse click on the
shortcut otherwise it will not work.
